On Wednesday, snowfall will pass, followed by a very strong southwest or west wind, locally up to 22–25 meters per second, with heavy snow flurries.
SMHI advises against venturing out into the mountains unnecessarily due to reduced visibility and difficulty getting around.
"The risk of frostbite is high," SMHI warns.
The wind and snowfall will decrease from the south during the evening.
