The American cloud services giant Oracle has launched a campaign to raise $45 billion to $50 billion to invest in new cloud infrastructure. The funds would come in the form of new shares and bonds.

The bond loan is estimated to be worth $20-25 billion, Bloomberg reports, citing sources.

Oracle declined to comment on the report.

The company was one of last year's major borrowers in the US bond market, with an $18 billion loan.
