The company believes that trade-offs need to be made regarding products with high computational costs.
OpenAI launched its second version of Sora to great acclaim in September last year - the app quickly rose to the top of the App Store, according to CNN.
In December, OpenAI signed a deal with Walt Disney that allowed Sora users to create content featuring more than 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars. According to a source, the partnership is now ending.
