Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told the country's media that he raised the data breach with OpenAI chief Sam Altman in New York on Wednesday.
"I expressed Australia's deep concern about this incident. I also expressed my disappointment that it took the company far too long to inform the government," Albanese said, according to ABC News .
The AI model is said to have investigated how much healthcare cost society when it found its way into the Medicare system.
According to Albanese, there is no evidence that the AI model accessed Australians' private data.
