Open AI, which is behind ChatGPT, has taken in approximately 400 billion kronor in capital at a valuation of 3,000 billion kronor.
The AI giant's financing round is the largest ever, according to figures from the database Pitchbook. The new valuation is close to a doubling compared to the 1,600 billion that the company was valued at in October.
"This investment helps us to continue pushing the boundaries", says CEO Sam Altman in a statement.
