In Lilla Edet, the Green Party's Josefina Svensson currently has a one-vote margin for her and the party to enter the municipal council. The MP has received 158 votes, which is currently 2.004 percent of the votes, while the threshold is 2 percent.

A lot can happen, and one district remains to be counted, according to the Election Authority.

"It's extremely tight. We're eagerly awaiting Wednesday's votes," she says.

She admits that it would be sad to fall at the final hurdle.

That would be incredibly boring. But in cases like that, you just have to get up and keep going.

In 20 other municipalities, fewer than ten votes currently determine whether parties pass the threshold or not.
