A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a fire in an apartment in Nydala in Malmö, reports Sydsvenskan .
The apartment is located high up in the building and the fire department had to use a ladder truck during the operation. The fire was extinguished, but the fire department remained at the scene to rule out smoldering fires.
The alarm came in just after midnight. It is still unclear what caused the fire.
