– Beating Inter at San Siro and winning 5–2 on aggregate is one of the greatest achievements in the history of Norwegian club football, the Football Association's president, Lisa Klaveness, tells the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport.
Even the Norwegian players are ecstatic about the victory.
"We have done something completely insane. It is surreal," midfielder Håkon Evjen tells TV2.
Gazzetta dello Sport columnist Francesco Pietrella calls Bodø's advancement a "miracle." He compares Bodø's squad value of 57 million euros to Inter's 666 million euros.
"The last time a Norwegian team made it this far was Rosenborg, who reached the quarter-finals in 1996," he writes.
Bodø are now through to the round of 16, where either Manchester City or Portuguese Sporting await. The draw will take place on Friday.
