The next day, the same perpetrators shot and wounded a 19-year-old man in the Lagersberg district.
"The shootings have had the character of executions," says Anna Fridh Welin, judge at Eskilstuna District Court, in a comment.
One of the men is sentenced to life imprisonment, while the other receives 16 years. The shorter sentence is because he provided crucial information to police during the investigation.
The shootings were carried out for payment and the men are deemed to have no connection to the victims, according to the district court.
Two other men are sentenced to 10 and 12 years in prison for aiding and abetting the crimes. Two women are sentenced for aggravated protection of a criminal and other crimes.
