According to Hezbollah, a group of Israeli soldiers was attacked with artillery in Misgav Am on the northern border, in one of several attacks for which the group claimed responsibility on Sunday.
The death is the first in Israel from attacks originating in Lebanon since the fighting began on March 2.
In Lebanon, over 1,000 people have been killed in the war, according to the country's health authorities.
