Two dead after small plane crashes into house in Germany

A small single-engine aircraft is reported to have lost altitude and crashed into the roof of a residential building in Ganderkeese at around 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Initially, one man was found dead. Later in the day, another man was found dead, NDR reports. The men were 65 and 77 years old, respectively.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by police and the aircraft will be salvaged.

The family living in the house was not in the building at the time of the accident.
