Police and rescue services were alerted on Wednesday morning about a fire on the ground floor in an apartment building in Gubbängen.
One person was taken to hospital for care. At 20.30 on Wednesday evening, the police announce that the person has died from their injuries. Relatives have been notified.
The incident is being investigated as suspected arson.
