A man in his 40s has died in a car accident outside Färgelanda in Dalsland.
A passenger car has collided with, or driven into, a tree at what is believed to have been quite high speed, says police spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara.
The police were alerted to the scene just after 3 pm on Tuesday.
The man was traveling alone in the car and was taken to hospital by ambulance, where he later died.
The car has been seized for a technical investigation. There are no suspicions of crime.
