A 30-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of having fired a firework that hit a 15-year-old boy so badly that he later died.
The man was arrested on Sunday, on probable cause suspected of gross negligence leading to another's death, reports SVT News Södertälje.
"Now the investigation will focus on trying to clarify how the accident occurred," writes prosecutor Jonas Bergendal in a comment to SVT.
The accident occurred at midnight on New Year's Eve. The boy was taken to hospital severely injured, but his life could not be saved.
