The police were called to the incident at 1 a.m. on Thursday. In connection with the altercation, two men in their 20s were taken to Kungälv Hospital, both with injuries from a sharp object.
The condition was particularly bad for one of them. He received emergency care, but his injuries were so serious that his life could not be saved, says Jens Andersson, police spokesman.
The other man is reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Exactly what lies behind this is unclear.
But there appears to have been some kind of conflict that led to the meeting there and resulted in this violence, says Jens Andersson.
Two other men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of involvement.
