Tusk writes on X that the suspect "uses a Georgian passport."

Semyon Skrepetskij, whose real name was Robert Kuzovov, was shot dead in a parking lot in the small town of Biala Podlaska in eastern Poland on Monday. He was shot three times from a distance and two more times at close range after he fell to the ground.

On Wednesday, Tusk said that "everything indicates that it is a political murder."

Skrepetskij often satirized Vladimir Putin, and just days before his assassination, he participated in a demonstration in Berlin, carrying one of his most famous works - an Orthodox icon painting in which a caricature of Joseph Stalin holds a small Vladimir Putin like the baby Jesus.
