A person has been arrested and prosecutors have opened a preliminary investigation into serious animal cruelty after a raid on a dairy farm on Öland, reports P4 Kalmar.
The effort was made after a review by Kalla Fakta.
The person has been assigned a defense attorney, but the prosecutor does not want to go into who the suspect is, or whether there are more suspects.
In Kalla Fakta's feature, it emerged that dairy cows had been beaten and kicked.
