A person has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the fatal shooting in Växjö on Monday, writes Smålandsposten.
The suspect was detained in their absence on Wednesday morning and arrested a few hours later in the Stockholm area.
The person will be transported to Växjö on Thursday to be questioned, writes the newspaper.
On Monday evening, a woman in her 30s was seriously injured in a shooting in an apartment building in the Teleborg district. She was taken to hospital, but her life could not be saved.
A man in his 30s was lightly injured in the drama.
