The object that exploded caused only minor damage to a store and a nearby parked car. The incident is being investigated as a public nuisance.
Tuesday's explosion was the third in the area in just five days. As recently as Monday, an object exploded at another store in Geneta centrum, and last week an explosion occurred at a gate to an apartment building in Södertälje.
