Announcements about discontinued programs are made throughout the year, but "On Track" remains unthreatened as SVT is to save 355 million SEK this year.

This is what Christina Hill, program manager for culture and entertainment at SVT, tells Göteborgs-Posten. However, other Gothenburg productions may not feel as safe. This applies to “Muren”, “Kulturfrågan Kontrapunkt”, “Doobidoo” and the dating programs “Hotell Romantik” and “Gift vid första ögonkastet”.

"There are many different kinds of measures that we are forced to consider, and some program titles will certainly disappear or be affected. But in general I can say that we, of course, want to protect the programs that we know the audience likes the most," Christina Hill tells GP.

Melodifestivalen should not be cancelled either, according to Hill.
