Sara Hector, who won Olympic gold in giant slalom in Beijing and silver in Milano-Cortina, says that many Swedish athletes do not have adequate conditions.
"Neither the Swedish Ski Association nor the Swedish Olympic Committee currently has the financial means to help me create a system that is 100 percent competitive against the skiers I meet every weekend. So I need to find solutions myself and create those conditions," she says.
Gardell supports several Swedish elite athletes and national teams, including Hector's national team teammate, Felix Monsén.
