American Ben Loomis encountered an unexpected problem in the ski jumping portion of the Nordic combined.
As Loomis started to go down the hill, he hit an official's leaf blower.
"I've never experienced anything like this. Luckily it happened at the top and I was just trying to convince myself to make a good jump," Loomis told NRK, according to SVT.
After each jump, officials stand at the far end of the hill to blow away snow on the course.
