All twelve participating nations in the men's Olympic Games ice hockey presented their first six players on Monday.

It's a star parade now that the NHL players are making a comeback in the Olympic Games for the first time since 2014.

The German team includes Leon Draisaitl, the forward star who is Edmonton's best goal scorer in the Stanley Cup playoffs with eleven goals.

Crosby selected

Looking at the entire playoffs, he shares first place in the scoring league (33 points) with teammate Connor McDavid – the superstar who has already been selected for Canada's squad.

Finland counters with Aleksander Barkov, the team captain of Florida, who is currently leading the Stanley Cup final over Edmonton with 3–2 in matches.

Both Canada and the USA have also selected Florida stars for the Olympic Games. For Canada, it's about Sam Reinhart and for the USA, it's about Matthew Tkachuk.

Veteran Sidney Crosby was captain when Canada won the Olympic Games gold in 2014 after a final victory over Sweden, and the 37-year-old is now selected for his third Olympic Games in his career.

The USA has given the green light for Toronto star Auston Matthews.
