+ Two Swedes in the men's slalom
Kristoffer Jakobsen has had a tough slalom season and only in Kitzbühel on January 25 did he manage to complete both runs in the same competition. Now he is in the starting gate for today's Olympic slalom in Bormio. Fabian Ax Swartz did not have success in his Olympic debut in the giant slalom, but the 21-year-old gets a new chance in the slalom.
+ The women's team dreams of a repeat
For the first time in twelve years, Sweden will play in the championship semi-final. There the Damkronorna will face the USA. Sweden enters the match as a clear underdog; the last time they defeated the USA in a competitive match was in the Olympic semi-final in 2006. It ended with a blue-and-yellow Olympic silver after a final loss to Canada.
+ The curling champions do not have their fate in their own hands
Reigning Olympic champions Team Niklas Edin have only one win and four losses in Cortina and no longer have their place in the semifinals in their own hands. The Swedes must win the remaining matches, but must also hope that other results go their way. This afternoon, Germany awaits.
