+ New gold hunt in Val di Fiemme
Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson started the winning streak with a victory in the women's skiathlon. Linn Svahn, Jonna Sundling and Maja Dahlqvist responded by taking the sprint triple. Now awaits the 10-kilometer freestyle, where Sweden – with Frida Karlsson, Ebba Andersson, Moa Ilar and Emma Ribom in the team – are big favorites to fight for the medals together with names like Jessie Diggins (USA) and Heidi Weng (Norway).
+ Walter Wallberg can defend Olympic gold
In Beijing four years ago, Walter Wallberg won Olympic gold in moguls. In Tuesday's qualifying he finished sixth, and the Swede, who is on painkillers for back problems, advanced straight to the final without impressing. He was a little nervous, but according to the 25-year-old, he has much more to give. It will probably be needed in the final - where Olympic debutant Rasmus Stegfeldt also has a chance to get through qualifying round 2.
+ The women's curling team makes its entrance
Team Hasselborg comes to the Olympics with the gold from the European Championships in Finland in November fresh in their minds. At PyeongChang 2018 they won Olympic gold, but in Beijing four years ago they had to settle for bronze. The team consists of Johanna Heldin, Sofia Scharback, Agnes Knochenhauer, Sara McManus and Anna Hasselborg. In the opening round they will face Japan.
