Olympic Guide: The most widely dispersed Olympics in history open in Milan in 2026

On Friday evening, the 2026 Olympics will officially open at San Siro in Milan. Ceremonies will also take place in Cortina, Livigno and Val di Fiemme.

Now it's time for the third day of mixed doubles curling. The Wranå siblings will take on Norway and Great Britain in Cortina.

+ Olympic opening ceremony at San Siro

At 8:00 PM, SVT will broadcast the opening ceremony at San Siro in Milan. During the ceremony, viewers will be treated to performances by, among others, world star Mariah Carey and Italian singer Laura Pausini.

TV: SVT/SVT Play and TV4/TV12/TV4 Play - everything is also streamed on HBO Max. Radio: P4 Radiosporten, P3 and the Sveriges Radio app.

12:10: Ice hockey, women, group B, France–Japan, Milan (TV4)

14:35: Curling, mixed doubles, preliminary round, Sweden–Norway, Czech Republic–USA, Estonia–Italy, South Korea–Great Britain, Cortina (SVT)

14:40: Ice hockey, women, group A, Czech Republic–Switzerland, Milan (TV4)

20:00: Opening ceremony, Milan (SVT)
