The Tre Kronor women are chasing an Olympic medal
Tre Kronor women last won an Olympic medal in Turin in 2006, taking silver after a semifinal win over the USA and a final loss to Canada. Now the Olympics are once again being held on Italian soil, and this time the ice hockey tournament is being played in Milan. Sweden begins the group stage against Germany.
Curling continues
Siblings Isabella and Rasmus Wranå play their second and third matches in the curling mixed doubles tournament, against the Czech Republic and Estonia. Ten teams participate in the tournament, with each team playing every other once. The top four advance to the semifinals.
