+ New golden chance after the relay miss

A given relay gold went to naught when Ebba Andersson fell, flipped over and lost a ski. Thanks to Jonna Sundling on the final leg, it was still a Swedish silver. If everyone stays on their feet, few can threaten Sweden in the team sprint. Maybe the women's cross-country skiing team's fourth gold will come then.

+ Will the female shooters hit the target correctly?

The Olympics have not been a success for the Swedish women's biathlon team; Hanna Öberg's eighth place in the pursuit is the best result so far. However, all Swedish biathletes improved compared with the sprint, and time-wise Elvira Öberg was the fastest overall, while Anna Magnusson had the third-fastest time on the course. If their shooting is good, there are good conditions for a Swedish medal in the relay.

+ Hector is chasing a new medal

Reigning champion Sara Hector took a shared silver in the giant slalom. That came after two improbable runs in which she and Norway's Thea Louise Stjernesund posted exactly the same times in both runs. In Beijing four years ago, the Swede won gold in the slalom but crashed out at the end of the second run. Now she gets another chance.
