After losing to Julian Friedli and Jonathan Jordan of Switzerland, the Swedes were forced into a playoff on Thursday evening against the Czech pair to reach the round of 16.
It went without a problem. The Swedes won 21-12, 21-13 convincingly.
"It's great that we came back and won this match so convincingly," Jonatan Hellvig told SVT.
The Swedes will face a tough task in the round of 16 when they meet the Latvian duo Martins Plavins/Kristians Fokerots.
World number ones Elmer Andersson and Jacob Hölting Nilsson are also through to the round of 16. There they will face the French pair Elouan Chouikh-Barbez/Joadel Genevieve-Gardoque.
