Beata Olsson left Kristianstad in the Swedish Women's League last year to play for Liverpool. The 25-year-old striker had a successful first season in England and scored six goals in the Super League.
Olsson has had a goal drought at the start of this season. But in the derby at home against Everton, she headed in the opener from a corner in the fourth minute. In the end, Swedish winger Cornelia Kapocs, who has played for Liverpool since 2024, made the final score 2-0, which was the 26-year-old's second league goal of the season.
On Tuesday, Sweden's national team coach Tony Gustavsson will name the squad for the World Cup playoff matches against Lithuania in October.
