Olle Östberg takes extended break from Brandsta City Släckers due to health problems

Brandsta City Släckers currently has only four members. According to Aftonbladet, Olle Östberg has taken an extended break from the group.

Brandsta City Släckers are currently performing the Christmas song "Ho ho för tomten", a rewritten version of their Melodifestivalen song "Rakt in i elden". Olle Östberg is missing from the single's cover image.

The band's singer, Glenn Borgkvist, says this is because of Östberg's health.

He is not doing well. He has huge problems with his back and also other health problems that come and go. Given his health as it is now, performing is not an option, and health must come before everything else.

Olle Östberg, 66, had health problems during Melodifestivalen earlier this year, and for a long time it was uncertain whether he would be able to perform with the band in the final.
