Oliver Solberg can call himself world champion.
The 23-year-old Swede secured his first World Championship title in his career when he drove home the total victory in WRC2, the second highest class, in Chile's World Championship rally.
Solberg won together with his co-driver Elliot Edmondson, from the United Kingdom.
Solberg unexpectedly won the eighth round of the highest WRC class of the World Championship rally in Estonia earlier in the summer, when he substituted for Toyota's regular driver Sébastien Ogier. He then took the first Swedish victory in 28 years.
