The 23-year-old Swedish rally talent has been given the chance in the WRC class, the main class in the World Championship, after an impressive drive in WRC2 earlier in the year.

He has amazed everyone.

On Friday, he won three special stages and led ahead of Saturday with a twelve-second margin to second-placed, home driver Ott Tänak, Estonia.

On Saturday, the successes have continued for the Swedish Toyota driver.

Solberg won four of the day's nine special stages. The other special stages he finished second or third.

The 23-year-old is now leading the Estonian World Championship rally by 21.1 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak, Hyundai. The World Champion and Hyundai driver Thierry Neuville, Belgium, is in third place.

I have always dreamed and believed that I can.

It has been a fantastic day. To have continuity, no mistakes. I am speechless, relieved, and super focused on tomorrow, says Solberg in TV4's broadcast.

However, it has not been completely perfect for Solberg in Estonia. Aftonbladet reports that Solberg will have to pay a fine of 2,000 euros after uttering a swear word in an interview after Friday's competitions.

On Sunday, the World Championship rally in Estonia will be concluded with three stages.
