The former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær is fired as coach for Besiktas, confirms the Turkish club on its website.
The message comes shortly after the team lost in the playoff to the Europa Conference League against the Swiss Lausanne-Sport. The loss means that Besiktas has not qualified for European games this season.
The Norwegian Solskjær came as coach to Besiktas in January. It was his first coaching job since he was fired from Manchester United in 2021.
