Oklahoma City Advances to NBA Finals for First Time Since 2012

It's the first time since 2012 that the team has advanced to the final.

"This is a step in the right direction, but we have much more work to do and we know it and that's what we're focusing on," says Oklahoma's Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander after the win in the series, which ended 4–1.

Oklahoma City will compete for the NBA title with the winner in the eastern conference, which will be either Indiana or New York Knicks.

Oklahoma City has never won an NBA title.
