"We have several layers of measures to ensure a secure electricity supply. The strategic reserve is one of them, and it is positive to be able to enter the winter with the reserve in place," says Maja Lundbäck, director general of Svenska kraftnät, in a press release.
The reserve amounts to 330 MW, and Karlshamnsverket is tasked with being ready if a power shortage arises.
