Oil prices rise at opening as U.S. WTI briefly tops $100 and North Sea oil tops $115 in May futures

Oil prices rose again at the opening of futures trading after the weekend.

U.S. WTI briefly topped $100 per barrel, while North Sea oil topped $115 per barrel in May futures trading.

The oil price was around $70 per barrel before the U.S. and Israel's attack on Iran at the end of February.
