Oil prices are falling overnight Monday after President Donald Trump's announcement that new talks with Iran would begin on Monday.
The price of Brent crude fell by just over 6 percent overnight when the US announced that there would be no new attacks on Iran at this time.
The hope is that new talks will lead to a definitive reopening of the Strait of Hormuz so that the oil ships stranded in the Persian Gulf can move on.
