Last week, the weekly average for exports exceeded 18 million barrels per day for several consecutive days, the first time since the US and Israel launched their attack on Iran in February, AFP reports.
However, oil prices remain above $100 per barrel as trading begins for the new week.
The price of crude oil has risen gradually since the summer, and Brent crude appears to have settled above $100 a barrel once again.
A few hours into Monday’s trading, Brent crude futures for December stood at $101.42 per barrel, down 0.8 percent, according to CNBC.
