After Tuesday's decline, North Sea oil has continued to fall. In the early hours of Wednesday, the October futures contract fell 2.6 percent, bringing the price to $86.31 per barrel, according to CNBC.
On Monday, North Sea oil at times cost as much as $94 a barrel.
