At the close of the Stockholm Stock Exchange, the broad OMXS index was up 0.9 percent. Among the winners was truck manufacturer Volvo, which rose 3.4 percent. The worst performer among the most-traded shares was live casino operator Evolution, which fell 1.6 percent. Fashion group H&M fell 0.6 percent after a weaker-than-expected quarterly report.
Outside the large-cap list, Castellum rose 3.4 percent after selling properties in Skåne for SEK 13 billion.
In Asia, a recovery was in order after declines on several stock exchanges in recent days.
The krona strengthened slightly against the dollar during the day. One dollar was trading at 9.71 krona.
