In Asia, markets recovered after declines in recent days on several exchanges. Tokyo is up around 4 percent this morning, local time in Sweden.
U.S. stock markets were relatively quiet yesterday evening. Ahead of the Nasdaq opening, futures point to clearly rising indices, boosted by a strong report from chipmaker Micron, which released its quarterly report after the market closed.
The weakening of the krona has stopped, at least for now. The dollar is trading at 9.74 this morning, while the euro is quoted at 11.07.
