The man was visiting his hometown last fall when he encountered three teenage boys on their way home from the pub.
He then allegedly acted threateningly and said "What nice front teeth you have - do you want to keep them?" to one of the boys. After being pushed, the man punched the boy twice in the face, tried to punch another boy, and collapsed.
The police were called there, but the man allegedly acted threateningly even toward police officers - and was taken to a drunk tank.
He denies the crime, but was convicted in the district court of assault, attempted assault, violent resistance and threats against an official. The penalty was a suspended sentence and community service.
If the verdict becomes final, he risks losing his job.
