Oasis to play across Europe next year, but skip Sweden and the Nordics

Oasis will be back on stage next year for a run of dates and will visit several European countries. However, there will be no shows in Sweden or the rest of the Nordic region, according to the tour schedule on the band's website.

First up on the new tour will be Glasgow, where the band will play five shows between May 21 and 29.

Next comes his hometown of Manchester - where there will be a total of eleven gigs starting on June 4.

Then there will be gigs in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle in Ireland before it's time to conclude in Knebworth, England, where the last of four concerts will take place on September 19.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited Oasis last year, as depicted in the recently released documentary film "Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger."

According to NME, The Verve singer Richard Ashcroft will be the opening act at all gigs.
