In August 2024, the rumor was confirmed: Oasis planned a reunion tour. Friday evening's performance in Cardiff in Wales is the first on the tour, which will continue until November.

When the band – for the first time in 16 years – took the stage, it was "Hello" that got to start.

Then, the 74,000 in the audience at Principality stadium in the Welsh capital got to hear classics like "Morning glory", "Fade away" and "Supersonic".

Most recently, the brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher shared the stage was in the summer of 2009. A quarrel before a performance at a festival in Paris ended with Liam throwing a guitar at Noel – and the band split up.

However, Friday's performance seems to have been free from drama, according to British media. Right at the end, the audience got to hear "Don't look back in anger", "Wonderwall" and finally "Champagne supernova".

Thanks for hanging out with us over the years. We're not easy to deal with, I understand that, says Liam Gallagher to the audience before the final song, reports The Guardian.
