As I understand it, he used a bag where he had his recording device, i.e. his phone, says prosecutor Anders Stridh.
The 38-year-old man previously lived at Nytorget in Stockholm and there, in his home, he filmed assaults on seemingly sleeping or unconscious women.
He was sentenced to five years in prison for rapes, sexual assaults, and harassments, but was released on parole after serving two-thirds of his sentence – despite repeated misconduct during his prison term and the risk of reoffending being assessed as high.
In Skåne, he is now being prosecuted for a series of sexual offenses that the prosecutor believes he committed while on parole.
Got alcohol and narcotics
The 17-year-old girl came into contact with him by chance in Hörby municipality. He provided her with alcohol on several occasions and on one occasion with a narcotic-classified drug, according to the indictment.
When she later found herself at his home, she was offered narcotics and medication mixed with alcohol and was subjected to gross rape, according to the indictment in that part.
If the district court shares my assessment that it was a gross rape, the minimum sentence is five years in prison, says the prosecutor.
Admits to secret filming
The secret filming took place at different locations, such as in Skåne in July and August last year, including in Malmö and Lund. Only three of the victims have been able to be identified.
The defendant has given explanations, but it's nothing I want to comment on now. He admits to having done it in this way, says the prosecutor.
In connection with the secret filming of children, the man has also committed child pornography offenses, according to the prosecutor.
If the man is convicted, it matters that he has only served two-thirds of his previous sentence and that the new crimes were committed while he was on parole.
Then the court can take a stand on what should happen with the remaining third. It's possible that the court decides that he should serve it, says the prosecutor.
TT has sought the man's defense attorney.
