The prosecutor does not want to disclose what the man will be charged with, but says that a press release will be sent out on Friday morning.
The Nytorgs man, who is now 38, was arrested in November last year suspected of having raped a young woman in Hörby municipality.
The investigation against him grew, and in February, he was arrested suspected of having sexually assaulted children on five different occasions through hidden filming. He is also suspected of drug offenses.
The Nytorgs man was convicted in February 2022 by the Svea Court of Appeal. There, the district court's previous verdict on five years' imprisonment for, among other things, seven rapes, eight sexual assaults, and six cases of sexual harassment.
Despite the man misbehaving during his prison sentence, and the risk of relapse being assessed as high, he was conditionally released in March last year after serving two-thirds of his sentence.
The release outraged private individuals, politicians, and former victims.
