William Nylander continues to perform for his Toronto team. In tonight's NHL game against Utah, he accounted for a goal and an assist.

William Nylander has scored in his last eight appearances for Toronto. The Swedish star has five goals and eleven assists since October 15, with a three-game injury layoff.

At home against Utah, he began his scoring spree by tying the game at 1–1 five minutes into the second period.

He then finished by playing Matthew Knies who scored the game-deciding goal 5–3.

With 20 points so far, Nylander shares second place in the NHL's scoring league, which is topped by Connor McDavid and Macklin Celebrini at 21.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson also provided an assist when he had played John Tavares through earlier in the match to make it 3–2.

John Klingberg was also productive. A power play goal and an assist contributed to San Jose's clear 6–1 victory away against the Seattle Kraken.

Clubmate Alex Wennberg was noted for a performance.
