The police investigation against the municipal employee in Nybro who forgot a bag with sensitive documents on a train has been closed. The prosecutor assesses that it was not a misconduct, reports SVT News Småland.

The bag contained printed documents about 200 children and adults and has been missing since it was forgotten on the train between Kalmar and Nybro on July 31. But the action was not criminal, according to the prosecutor.

In order for it to be a misconduct, it must have occurred during the exercise of public authority and I do not assess that it has done so, even if the incident has occurred in service, says prosecutor Magnus Argus to SVT.
