The Trump administration has announced to Nvidia that export licenses for the H20 chip will be granted, the company reports. The export to China was blocked by the US earlier in April, with the requirement that the company must apply for licenses to continue sales.
The message comes after Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang met with US President Donald Trump last week. On Wednesday, the CEO is expected to attend a conference on international supply chains in Beijing, according to Chinese state media.
The semiconductor giant developed its H20 model precisely with the aim of being able to continue selling to the Chinese market, after stricter American regulations.
