The strong gain on Thursday followed an unexpectedly strong interim report late Wednesday evening Swedish time, in which Nvidia painted a picture of continued strong demand for AI infrastructure.
The 8.7 percent price increase in Thursday's trading meant that Nvidia's market capitalisation rose by $442 billion, equivalent to 4.2 trillion kronor.
Even before the rally, Nvidia was by far the world's most valuable listed company and was valued at $5.5 trillion (just over 48 trillion kronor) when trading on Wall Street closed on Thursday.
The second most valuable listed company, Apple, was then valued at $4.6 trillion (almost SEK 44 trillion).
